Direct Access

You can now have Direct Access to our dental therapist and book appointments with them whenever you want to. Our receptionists will be happy to explain how this works and make an appointment for you.

The therapist cannot provide the same comprehensive examination as your dentist.

Further information about what each member of the team is trained to do can be found in the General Dental Council’s publication Scope of practice (visit www.gdc-uk.org). If a referral to a dentist is necessary, the therapist will explain the reasons for the referral and seek your consent to be referred.
